So, whether you know him or not, Robert Kiyosaki is the famous author behind the popular Rich Dad Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! book. Robert has assumed himself as a…
I was really looking forward to crushing Diet Mountain Dew with Skip Bayless in L.A. while we celebrated a Clippers championship run. Unfortunately, for now, this will remain a dream.
It’s very disappointing, and right now I’m very disappointed. Currently, I’m writing this just after the Clippers have lost to the Suns as Phoenix moves on to the NBA Finals.
There are so many thoughts going on in my head and a little devastation. So bear with me as I express some of my thoughts here.
I think first off, what I want to say is credit to the Phoenix…
Disclaimer: Gambling and online betting can be a severe addiction. Please gamble at your own risk and gamble responsibly.
First, let me state that gambling is not to be taken lightly, and in fact, it can become very addicting. According to The Recovery Village, around 10 million Americans currently suffer from a gambling addiction. We tend to view gambling as a fun way to relax after a long day at work, socialize with our friends, or make sports games much more enticing to watch. …
Last night, one of the other releases was a remix of Logic’s “Perfect” track from his previous album, No Pressure. This track featured ASAP Ferg and Lil Wayne ensuring this track to be a unique one.
Now, if you are a Logic fan yourself or have read my previous post on my review of the album, No Pressure, you know that “Perfect” was initially supposed to feature these two artists. So the album would have had four features in total.
However, if my memory serves me correctly, Def Jam did not want to pay for the features leaving Logic to…
Do you know who an unexpected collaboration was? Joyner Lucas and J. Cole. In fact, they just dropped a new single this morning called “Your Heart.”
Now I’ve been a massive fan of Joyner Lucas over the past year or two. Personally, I have found a lot of enjoyment in listening to ADHD and one of his more recent projects, Evolution. So when I saw the announcement yesterday on Instagram, believe me, I was stunned.
I mean, I look at it this way. J. Cole and Eminem have yet to collaborate. Meaning that Joyner Lucas collaborated with J. Cole first…
I guess we all need a week off.
Don’t you feel the urge at times to take a break? Not just a 5 or 10 minute one, but maybe for a week? Even a month?
Well, I’m here to tell you that I decided to take a week (6 days to be exact) off just to see how it would feel. And in all honesty, it didn’t feel very ideal.
This time of September is usually when I feel ready to attend school, but since I won’t be this year, I thought it would be a great time to finally…
A Discussion of What Is Presented on the Album
Certified Lover Boy.
By now, you have probably heard the album. And whether or not you enjoy it or you think it’s a flop, what can we learn from this?
What is actually being told to us? To you? And to me?
By now, I’ve listened to the album thoroughly twice. Initially, there was something that I couldn’t grasp. I really didn’t know what this album represented.
Throughout the entire album, you hear Drake talk about women, whether its his mother, ex-lovers, or girls he wants.
So with that in mind…
“What are we getting ourselves into?”
That is the question I’ve been asking myself constantly over the past few weeks. It’s such a deep and personal question that I feel we may avoid and not ask ourselves often enough.
All we see it’s the glitz and the glamour of what could be for us, as it has been for others. If it shines, it must be gold!
You ever wake up in the morning, reach for your phone, and go on social media? It’s a typical routine for many across the world. …
It seems like our definition of heaven depends on our personal belief in it. I’m not necessarily talking in religious terms either.
When you are asked the question above, you probably think of two different scenarios. That heaven is the proclaimed religious place somewhere in the clouds, or it’s a moment here on Earth.
This moment here on Earth may be sparked by an experience you have already had. Whether the experience is with a lover, resting on your own private island, or enjoying moments with family.
An idea to write this was all sparked by a thought I had…
Both performed exceptionally well.
GRIP’s new album just dropped this morning called I Died For This!? Overall it is a fascinating and different-sounding album. There is plenty of variety in the form of production and styles of presentation. One minute I hear a bit of rock, the next, I have a detailed story.
So if you're like me and are just introduced to GRIP through this album, he is currently signed to Shady Records. He's from Atlanta, and from what I've heard, he's a great lyricist and storyteller.
Some of that was put on the test through the track "Walkthrough!"…
